Lost Bear Bakery was founded during the infamous 2020 by Sophie Stoddart (The Creative) & Sam Price (The Taster). For over 10 years Sophie has worked as a Freelance Stage Manager at various Theatres around London and the UK including the illustrious Glyndebourne. However, during 2020 Sophie lost all of her work, much like many in the industry, and decided to throw herself into the kitchen and start baking, and baking and baking! Creating delicious baked goods has always been a passion of Sophie’s so you could say this path was inevitable. Now, with more time than usual, Sophie is able to dedicate her time to perfecting various recipes she has created over the years.
Sam, has over 8 years experience in the wine trade, recently obtaining his Diploma in Wine (DipWSET) he currently manages a local wine shop and hosts tasting events. Whilst he leaves all the baking to Sophie he is more than happy to swap his wine glass for a brownie and help taste test bakes.
